Squares: The Daily Word Strand Puzzle Challenge!

Squares is a daily word puzzle game where you connect letters on a grid to create words and score points. The goal is to find all the words and maximize your score.

How to Play:

Connect letters in any direction (up, down, left, right, diagonally) to form words. Words must be at least four letters long, and each tile can only be used once per word. Hyphenated words, proper nouns, offensive language, and uncommon terms are not included in the main word list.

Scoring & Bonus Words:

Earn one point for each letter in a word (a five-letter word earns five points). The game also includes bonus words—obscure, archaic, or slang terms—that don't earn points but appear in a separate list. You can continue searching for bonus words even after finding all the main words. Each puzzle also features a "Word of the Day," a longer bonus word that rewards you with two extra hints upon guessing correctly.

Game Features:

• Daily Puzzle: A new puzzle is available every day at midnight.
• Grid Rotation: Rotate the grid left or right to gain a fresh perspective and uncover hidden words.
• Hints: After finding 40% of the words, you'll receive a hint showing how many words start with each letter (a number next to the letter; an orange letter indicates it's no longer used in the main words but might be in bonus words). Each puzzle offers 3-5 hints (lightbulb icon) revealing a random word's first letter and search direction. Sharing the game link earns you an extra hint!
