Where To Find Something Infested With Fleas in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

One side quest, "A Good Scrub," in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* unlocks a series of bathhouse-related tasks, including a search for a flea-infested item. Here's how to find it for Betty.

Pick Up ‘A Good Scrub’

Speak to the innkeeper in Kuttenberg about work; this will lead you to Betty, the bathhouse owner (located southeast in Kuttenberg). Accept her offer to find Matsek in Grund. Matsek is hesitant to be seen with the bathhouse employees, so discreetly navigate to the courtyard where he’s waiting near three women. Identify yourself as Betty’s representative and escort them back to the bathhouse.

Promote the Bathhouse

To help Betty attract customers, you'll need to promote the bathhouse. Practice your sales pitch with her, then advertise at the grain market, horse market, vintners’ street, and merchants’ street. Remember, this must be done during the day.

Clean Up and Finish ‘A Good Scrub’

Before the alderman's inspection, clean the bathhouse. Failure to do so promptly will result in its closure, preventing you from proceeding with "Ill Repute."

Finding Fleas for ‘Ill Repute’

After a successful inspection, speak to Betty about the bathhouse's ongoing challenges. She'll mention the council's decision regarding the city's main bathhouse, requiring you to drive a competitor away.

Speak to Meaty Mary, Katcha, and Little Lida to learn the councillor's preferences. You'll need chamomile brew for the wine cask on the competitor's second floor. Lida will only reveal the councillor's fondness for fragrant oils after receiving a noblewoman's dress (obtainable from a tailor). Alternatively, you can steal oils from a cabinet on the third floor.

Katcha mentions the bathhouse's past flea infestation. To obtain the flea-infested item, head to Kuttenberg's east gate. There, you'll find a beggar camp; search their sacks for a flea-infested blanket.

Return to the bathhouse and discreetly place the fleas in Councillor Naaz's laundry basket and the clean laundry basket. Note that completing one of the three tasks (the chamomile brew, the fragrant oils, or the fleas) is sufficient to drive the councillor away. Once this is done, you can complete the quest and continue to quests like “Axe from the Lake.”
