Wilson explained: "We're managing the current trajectory while focusing on the game's strong brand recognition, large global community, and premier position among free-to-play live service games."

The executive shared insights from Season 22's performance, noting: "Battle pass changes didn't achieve our monetization goals. This revealed two key observations in the F2P FPS category - strong brands with dedicated communities outperform competitors, and significant growth requires major systematic changes."

EA's approach focuses on retaining existing players while implementing innovative seasonal updates. Wilson emphasized: "We've learned that sequels to successful live service games rarely match their predecessors' success."

Wilson outlined EA's commitment to maintaining player investments: "Our priority is delivering innovative seasonal content while protecting players' progress. We won't force our community to choose between their existing investments and new content experiences."
