Secure Camera is a privacy-focused, modern camera app offering a comprehensive photography and videography experience. It features multiple capture modes including image, video, and QR/barcode scanning, plus advanced options like Portrait, HDR, Night, Face Retouch, and Auto, leveraging CameraX vendor extensions. Navigation is intuitive, utilizing a tabbed interface for easy mode selection and a swipe-accessible settings panel. A simple arrow button also provides access to settings.

The app boasts a built-in gallery and video player for viewing and editing captured media (currently utilizing an external editor for editing). Its high-speed QR code scanner supports high-density codes and includes features like zoom, torch, and selectable barcode types. Standard camera features such as autofocus, auto-exposure, and auto white balance are included, with manual tuning options. By default, it prioritizes quick and reliable QR code scanning.

Permissions are limited to camera and microphone access, with location tagging offered as an experimental feature. Secure Camera prioritizes user privacy by removing EXIF metadata from images, with planned future support for video metadata stripping. The app offers a secure and user-friendly experience.
