Chainsaw Man Announces First Official Game, That Too for Mobile!

Marking MAPPA’s 15th anniversary, the studio has delivered its most significant announcement of the year. During a special livestream event, MAPPA revealed the debut mobile game based on Chainsaw Man. Yes, the hit series is finally getting its own video game adaptation, and it will be available on mobile devices!

The broadcast featured a wide array of updates, including new anime titles like Beat & Motion and Jimoto Saiko!, as well as progress reports on returning franchises such as Jujutsu Kaisen: Culling Game Part Two and Dorohedoro season 3.

However, the standout moment for Droidgamers was the surprise reveal of a new game. Alongside the announcement, MAPPA shared an introductory cinematic that offered fans their first look at the project.

Packed with style and visual flair, the trailer showcases high-quality 3D character models, dynamic camera work, and the signature brutal action fans expect from the franchise. Key characters such as Denji, Power, Aki, and Makima make appearances throughout the clip.

The video also features a track by Japanese metal band Maximum the Hormone. Their song All the Lynch!!! All the Mince!! plays in the background, continuing their musical partnership with the anime adaptation. You can watch it right here!

At this stage, we know primarily that it is being developed as a mobile-first experience. There are no plans announced for PC or console releases yet, and the final title remains unconfirmed.
