Application Description

Unlocking the radio codes for your vehicle has never been easier with our comprehensive radio code generator. Compatible with a wide range of car brands including Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, Seat, Chrysler, Jeep, Mercedes, and more, this tool allows you to retrieve the activation code for your car radio or navigation system instantly. All you need is the serial number of your device.

To find the serial number, look for the label attached to the side of your radio. You may need to partially remove the audio unit to access it. Once you locate the serial number, which is usually near the barcode, take a clear picture of it. Here are some examples of serial numbers for different car brands:

Our radio code generator boasts high compatibility with various car makes and models, including Ford, Renault, Dacia, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Fiat, Volkswagen (VW), Nissan, Audi, Honda, Acura, Seat, Chrysler, Jeep, Mercedes, and Volvo. It also supports popular radio models such as Blaupunkt, Becker, Alpine, 6000CD, 6006CD, SONY, 4500RDS E-O-N, 5000RDS, 3000RDS, Travelpilot, RNS MDF, Concert, Gamma, Symphony, and RNS300/RNS310/RNS500/RNS510, MF2910.

To enter your radio code, follow these steps:

  1. Press the pre-determined button repeatedly until you see the code digit on the screen.
  2. Repeat the process with buttons 2, 3, and 4.
  3. Ensure you have entered the radio code correctly and confirm. The confirmation button varies by model; it can be 5, *, or >. For example, on Ford 6000CD, confirm with 5; for Sony units, use *; and for most VW, Audi, Skoda, and Seat, use > (arrow right).

If your radio displays "SAFE", "LOCKED", "WAIT", or "ERROR", it is due to the protection system against brute force attempts. Radios typically lock after three unsuccessful code entry attempts. Here's how to handle it based on your car brand:

  • Ford: If you see "WAIT" on the screen, leave the radio powered ON for 30 minutes. If you see "LOCKED" or "LOCKED10", hold the button 6 for ten seconds to get another three attempts. If you see "LOCKED13", you have a semi-permanent block which can only be fixed by a dealer.
  • VW (Volkswagen): When three unsuccessful attempts are reached, the VW brand radios are blocked with the message "SAFE" or "SAFE2" on the display. To re-enter a code, leave the unit on for 60 minutes.

We strive to make the process seamless so customers don't need to contact us, but if you have any questions or issues, feel free to open the chat. Our team is quick to respond and will happily offer the help you need.
