Compatibility and Requirements:

Piston requires a separate ELM327 adapter (Bluetooth or WiFi) to function as a car scanner. It supports OBD-II (OBDII, OBD2) and EOBD standards.

• USA: OBD2 mandatory for vehicles sold from 1996.
• European Union: EOBD mandatory for petrol cars from 2001 and diesel cars from 2004.
• Australia/New Zealand: OBD2 mandatory for petrol cars from 2006 and diesel cars from 2007.

Important: Piston only accesses data supported and provided by your vehicle's OBD2 system.
