All Monsters in R.E.P.O.

Animal

Threat Level: Low

The Animal is a swift but weak foe, easily dispatched due to its lack of aggressive retaliation.

Apex Predator (Duck)

Threat Level: Low

Unless provoked, the Apex Predator poses no threat. However, eliminating it offers easy cash. The most efficient method is to lure it to the extraction zone and crush it with the piston.

Bang

Threat Level: Medium

True to its name, the Bang is a volatile, grenade-like enemy. Upon detection or attack, it rushes towards you and explodes. The optimal strategy is to pick it up and toss it into water, lava, or acid. Bangs can also be used to damage other monsters.

Bowtie

Threat Level: Low

Bowties emit a debilitating scream upon spotting a player, hindering movement and pushing you backward. While the scream itself is harmless, it can propel you into damaging obstacles. Their slow movement during their scream makes them vulnerable to attacks. Stealth is key; approach when it's unaware.

Chef

Threat Level: Medium

The Chef's attack patterns are predictable. Upon sighting you, it leaps forward, slashing with knives. Dodging its attack leaves it momentarily off-balance, creating an opening for a counterattack.

Clown

Threat Level: High

The Clown is among R.E.P.O.'s most dangerous adversaries. It attacks with a height-adjusting laser beam and employs a charging melee attack. However, after firing its laser, it experiences a brief stun, providing a fleeting chance to escape or retaliate.

Gnome

Threat Level: Low

Gnomes often travel in groups, prioritizing the destruction of your loot over direct combat. Their weakness makes them easily dispatched by picking them up and slamming them against a wall or floor.

Headman

Threat Level: Low

The Headman, a floating head, is generally harmless unless provoked by shining a light upon it.

Hidden

Threat Level: Medium

The Hidden, a cloud of black smoke, can grab you, stunning you and causing you to drop your items. Its ability to pull you towards other enemies poses a significant risk. Its elusive nature makes it difficult to eliminate; hiding is often the best approach when sensing its presence.

Huntsman

Threat Level: Medium

The Huntsman is blind but acutely sensitive to sound. It fires a shotgun upon hearing any noise, capable of instantly killing nearby players. However, its predictable patrol route makes avoidance relatively straightforward. Direct confrontation is strongly discouraged.

Mentalist

Threat Level: Medium

The Mentalist, a floating alien-like entity, activates an anti-gravity field upon spotting a player, levitating nearby objects before slamming them to the ground. Its teleportation ability makes escape challenging. It's vulnerable to melee weapons, and other players can help you escape its anti-gravity field.

Reaper

Threat Level: Medium

The Reaper is slow, deaf, and doesn't chase far, making it easy to avoid. Ranged weapons are the most effective means of eliminating it.

Robe

Threat Level: High

Robe is a fast, aggressive threat. Direct eye contact triggers a frenzy, increasing its speed and damage output. Avoid looking at it and seek cover until it moves on; direct combat is ill-advised due to its high health.

Rugrat

Threat Level: Low

While seemingly harmless, Rugrat scavenges for items and throws them at players if spotted. It flees when empty-handed. Eliminating it requires multiple players to lift and slam it against a wall.

Spewer

Threat Level: Medium

The tadpole-like Spewer chases players, vomiting on them. This vomit deals damage to nearby players and objects, but can also be used against enemies. Grabbing and shaking it will cause it to flee.

Shadow Child

Threat Level: Low

The Shadow Child, despite its creepy appearance, is easily dispatched with most attacks due to its low health pool.

Trudge

Threat Level: High

Trudge is slow but deadly. It pulls players towards it before striking with its mace, often resulting in an instant kill. It can also pull you from hiding spots. Avoidance is the best strategy.

Upscream

Threat Level: Medium

Upscreams travel in groups, grabbing and throwing players to deal damage and stun them. They are vulnerable to most attacks, but the tranquilizer gun is particularly effective for stunning them before a finishing blow.
