Marvel Rivals Comments on 30 FPS Bug

Marvel Rivals Addresses Low FPS Damage Issue
Several Marvel Rivals heroes, including Dr. Strange and Wolverine, are experiencing reduced damage output at lower FPS settings. This 30 FPS bug impacts damage calculations, affecting heroes like Magik, Star-Lord, and Venom. Developers acknowledge the problem and are actively working on a solution.
The issue, stemming from the game's client-side prediction mechanism, is more noticeable when attacking stationary targets. While a complete list of affected heroes and abilities hasn't been released (Wolverine's Feral Leap and Savage Claw are confirmed), developers are confident that the upcoming Season 1 update (January 11th) will offer a fix, or at least a significant improvement. If not fully resolved in Season 1, a subsequent patch will address the remaining issues.
Despite early concerns about hero balance, Marvel Rivals, launched in early December 2025, boasts an 80% player approval rating on Steam (over 132,000 reviews), showcasing its overall popularity. The developers' proactive response to this FPS-related bug further demonstrates their commitment to a positive player experience.
