Season 1: The Tempest (October 2024)

Concord Season 1 Launches October 2024

Concord's first season, "The Tempest," arrives in October, introducing a new Freegunner character, a fresh map, additional character variants, and a host of cosmetic items. Weekly cinematic vignettes will enrich the narrative surrounding the Northstar crew. A new in-game store will offer purely cosmetic items, supplementing the rewards earned through gameplay.

Season 2 and Beyond (January 2025)

Season 2 is already planned for January 2025, demonstrating Firewalk Studios' commitment to consistent seasonal content throughout Concord's first year.

Mastering Concord: Gameplay Strategies

Ellis also shared insights into optimal gameplay, highlighting the "Crew Builder" system. Players assemble teams of five Freegunners, with the option to include up to three variants of the same character. This allows for strategic team composition based on playstyle and match challenges. Combining Freegunners from diverse roles unlocks Crew Bonuses, offering advantages like enhanced mobility and reduced cooldowns.

Unlike traditional shooter roles, Concord's Freegunners are designed for high damage output in direct combat. The six roles (Anchor, Breacher, Haunt, Ranger, Tactician, and Warden) are defined by their strategic impact on the match, encompassing area control, long-range engagements, and flanking maneuvers.
