MauMau is a German variant of the classic Crazy Eights card game. It uses a deck of 32 cards, with each player receiving a hand of 5 or 6 cards. The first player to discard all their cards wins. On a turn, a player must match either the suit or the rank of the previously played card. Certain cards have special effects: playing a Seven forces the next player to draw two cards; an Eight makes them skip a turn. A Jack can be played on any card, allowing the player to choose a new suit.
