Story:

Players enter the Heat Showdown, an underground racing event set across the streets and outskirts of Night City.

As they climb the ranks, Lieutenant Wolf—leader of an NCPD task force—takes notice. The player is soon targeted, goes underground, and begins working with the Crew as a covert agent.

Roma and Mando offer guidance, helping the player navigate the path to the Verone and Yakuza syndicates.

Campaign:

Campaign missions are story-driven events that unfold as you progress through the Heat Showdown and increase your Rep Level by racing at night.

Gameplay:

Drive a wide variety of cars in fast-paced, action-packed races. Take on missions like Street Race, Time Trial, Cop Smash, Car Delivery, and the highly anticipated Drag Races. Customize your vehicle visually to create a stunning look, and upgrade performance parts to build the ultimate machine.

Take risks to boost rewards. Perfect your speed and style to earn extra reputation, and chain together Heaters for huge multipliers. Decide whether to push further for bigger wins or risk losing it all. Take on special challenges to raise stakes and multiply your earnings. Join the Tokyo Racing scene and use nitro to speed through events in 15 supercars. Enjoy advanced physics and impressive graphics for a realistic racing experience.
