Using the App and Reader with the Same Sensor:

Alarms are device-specific; they'll trigger on either your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader or your phone, but not both simultaneously. Initiating the sensor with the app enables phone alerts; initiating with the reader activates reader alerts. After reader initiation, phone scanning remains possible.

Important Note: The app and reader don't share data directly. For complete data, scan your sensor every 8 hours with each device. LibreView.com allows consolidated data viewing from all devices.
