Ford Focus 2 and C-Max I Module Diagnostics and Configuration

Connect your Ford Focus 2 or C-Max using an ELM327 or ELS27 interface to access and interact with the following CAN-bus modules:

Engine Control Module: Retrieve module information, read and clear diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), reboot the module, and reset the long-term fuel trim (KAM)*. Supported engine control units (ECUs) include:

• ESU-411/418 (1.8 125/2.0 145 HP)
• SIM28/29 (1.4 80/1.6 100/115 HP)
• ESU-121/131 (1.8 120/2.0 145 HP)

Instrument Cluster (Dashboard): Access module information, read and clear DTCs, configure module settings, reboot the module, change odometer readings, and perform odometer correction*.

Brake Control Module: Retrieve module information, read and clear DTCs, configure module settings, reboot the module, reset Dynamic Damper System (DDS) calibration, and perform brake bleeding*.

Body Control Module (Comfort Module): Access module information, read and clear DTCs, configure module settings*, and reboot the module.

Airbag Control Module (Safety Module): Retrieve module information, read and clear DTCs, configure module settings, reboot the module, and clear crash data*.

Transmission Control Module: Access module information, read and clear DTCs, and reset KAM*.

Climate Control Module: Retrieve module information, read and clear DTCs.

Audio Module: Access module information, read and clear DTCs, and obtain the radio code (for M-series modules)*.

*Indicates features available only in the full version of the software.

ELM327 Adapter Modification:

For full application functionality and access to additional modules, a slight modification to the ELM327 adapter may be necessary. Instructions can be found here: http://forffclub.narod.ru/index/0-2

ELS27 Interface:

The ELS27 interface can be purchased at: https://els27.ru/. For ELS27USB, set the baud rate to 38400. For ELS27BT-2, use the ELS27 Baudrate utility to set the baud rate to 2,000,000.
