This digital escape room game lets you solve engaging puzzles and learn about the daily life and work of a Hanseatic merchant around 1475. A Race Against Time:

Merchant Jürgen from the Knoggeburg Hanseatic family needs your help! He's preparing for a crucial council meeting, and time is of the essence. You've been tasked with various errands around his hall house, but you have a bowling appointment in just 30 minutes – so you'll need to work quickly!

In this educational game, you'll solve puzzles, combine items within the historically accurate setting, and use your wits to keep the merchant happy and on schedule. Explore his hall house, learning about daily professional and private life in the Hanseatic region. The game focuses on three main tasks:

• Wardrobe Preparation: Assemble the merchant's outfit for the meeting, but remember to clean and dry some garments using medieval methods.
• Letter Drafting: Compose an important letter, requiring you to create ink and find the right writing materials.
• Cargo Distribution: Use a cargo crane to distribute delivered goods across the different floors of the house.

"Adventure Dielenhaus" is part of the digital offerings of the European Hansemuseum in Lübeck. Developed in collaboration with local historians, the game blends historical accuracy with playful learning, covering daily life, architecture, work, and connections to modern times.
