Yukiko's Castle, the first major dungeon in Persona 4 Golden, presents a gradual difficulty curve. While early floors are manageable, later floors introduce the formidable Magical Magus, a powerful random encounter. This guide details its weaknesses and strategies for an easy victory.

Magical Magus Weaknesses and Skills

The Magical Magus primarily utilizes fire-based attacks. Equipping fire-resistant accessories (found in golden chests throughout the dungeon) is crucial. These accessories also prove beneficial in the final boss fight.

Be wary of the Magical Magus's attack patterns. When it begins charging magic, guard on your next turn. It frequently uses Agilao, a high-damage fire spell capable of instantly defeating unprepared party members. While Hysterical Slap inflicts physical damage (hitting twice), Agilao poses the more significant threat. Strategically, it's advisable for Chie and Yosuke to focus on guarding, leaving the offensive to the protagonist.
