Lord of Nazarick Storms Android with Crunchyroll Release

Today, the turn-based RPG Overlord: Lord of Nazarick arrives on Android, bringing the dark magic and intense drama of the Overlord anime to mobile devices. Players will command an army alongside the formidable Sorcerer King, Ainz Ooal Gown.

Developed by Perfect World and published by Crunchyroll and A Plus Japan, Overlord: Lord of Nazarick serves as excellent preparation for the upcoming film, Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom, hitting U.S. and Canadian theaters November 8th, with international screenings to follow.

The Story:

The game follows Momonga, a salaryman who, after a decade playing the MMORPG Yggdrasil, becomes Ainz Ooal Gown, the all-powerful (and anti-heroic) ruler of the Great Tomb of Nazarick. Expect intense battles, betrayals, and loyalty tests, reimagined for this new mobile experience. The game boasts over 50 playable characters, including guardians and the Pleiades, featuring both familiar scenarios and exciting new twists exclusive to the game. Beyond the story missions, players will face roguelite dungeons, boss challenges, and even mini-games. Party building involves five distinct classes and three unique attributes, allowing players to assemble their dream team from the series' most memorable warriors. Cooperative and PvP modes are also included.
