Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2's release has been pushed back once more, now targeting a launch in October 2025. The game's official Twitter (X) account made this announcement on March 26, accompanied by a video update.

In the video, Bloodlines 2 Executive Producer Marco Behrmann shared insights into the game's current development status. He stated, "The status of the game right now is that the game is done. We are currently working on bug fixing, stability, and performance so we can deliver the best experience to you guys once it releases."

Paradox has been actively engaging with the community through Dev Diaries over the past few months, detailing aspects like characters, stories, and mechanics. However, to focus on enhancing the game's quality, all future Dev Diaries have been put on hold.

First Revealed in 2019

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was first unveiled in March 2019, with an initial release planned for March 2020. The game was originally developed by Hardsuit Labs. However, in October 2019, the release was postponed to an unspecified date in 2020, and later pushed further into 2021.

During this period, several key team members departed from the project. In February 2021, Paradox Interactive announced that Hardsuit Labs would no longer be involved, and The Chinese Room took over development. Since then, the game's release has been rescheduled multiple times—from late 2024 to the first half of 2025, and now to late 2025.
