Terminator 2D: NO FATE Joins Iconic Franchise

Studio Bitmap Bureau has revealed a new game that captures the essence of a classic side-scroller, drawing inspiration from the film Terminator 2.

While the storyline takes cues from the iconic second chapter of the legendary action series, the developers confirm original plot threads and even multiple possible endings. Key cinematic moments will stay true to the film.

Players will alternate between controlling the T-800, Sarah Connor, and a now-adult John Connor. Controlling the first two characters involves direct confrontations with the T-1000, while stepping into John's shoes lets players command the human resistance.

Fans will appreciate the inclusion of the franchise's famous main theme in the trailer, along with memorable scenes from Terminator 2, all visualized through stylish pixel art. Beyond the core campaign, the game will include several arcade-style modes.

The release is scheduled for September 5, 2025, on all current-generation consoles and PC.
