Survive Shifting Tombs, Alter Desert

RuneScape's latest Dev's Diary for April has just been released, detailing the exciting new quest, Return to the Desert: Pharaoh’s Folly. This quest, available from today until April 28th, challenges players to survive the Shifting Tombs and alter the desert’s fate alongside Leela and Ozan.

Here’s the Full Scoop on the Pharaoh’s Folly in RuneScape

The Kharidian desert is facing heightened tensions as Menaphos descends into chaos. Osman's betrayal has left the city on the brink of collapse, with the populace divided and Amascut's ominous presence lurking in the shadows. Escaping the Shifting Tombs is just the start of the perils awaiting adventurers.

You'll be joined by Leela and new allies, including some intriguing pets, to delve into Menaphos's ancient secrets and uncover Osman's true intentions.

Heading Back into the Heat Again

Completing Pharaoh’s Folly comes with rewarding perks. Players can earn Thieving and Agility XP, the prestigious title The Rabble-Rouser, and a new item, Leela’s Favour bracelet. This bracelet allows teleportation across Menaphos districts, the Sophanem slayer dungeon, the shifting tombs, and all active soul obelisks.

However, the Return to the Desert: Pharaoh’s Folly quest is not for beginners. It requires a Slayer level of 87, completion of the Beneath Scabaras’ Sands quest, and specific achievements from the Do No Evil quest within Phite Club. Additionally, players must have developed the necessary structures in the Fort Forinthry storyline. Only then can they meet Leela outside Menaphos's gates and attempt to save the city from ruin. If you meet these requirements, you can download the game from the Google Play Store and embark on this desert adventure.
