Suikoden I & II HD Remaster Preorder Bonus
Digital preorders and the Day One physical edition of the game come with an enticing bundle of in-game digital items. Here's what you get:
- 57,300 potch
- Fortune Orb x1
- Prosperity Orb x1
Potch is the in-game currency, and the Fortune Orb doubles the experience gained by the player holding it. The Prosperity Orb doubles the currency a character receives from battles. Note that the main character of the first Suikoden game cannot hold both orbs simultaneously.
What is Suikoden I & II HD Remaster?
The first Suikoden game debuted on the original PlayStation in Japan in 1995, followed by its sequel in 1998. Both games reached Western markets a year later. In these RPGs, players recruit 108 warriors to build an army and combat evil forces.
This remaster maintains the charm of the original pixelated graphics while optimizing them for modern widescreen displays. Enhancements include smoother spell effects and HD redrawn character portraits. Additionally, the remaster introduces quality-of-life features such as the ability to speed up battles, auto-battle mode, auto-save, a conversation log, and a revamped user interface that simplifies equipment changes.
