"Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 and Spin-Off Series Announced at Celebration"

At Star Wars Celebration, fans were thrilled to learn that Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 is set to launch on October 29, 2025. This exciting news was accompanied by the announcement of a new spin-off series that will continue the saga of The Ninth Jedi, which originally debuted in Volume 1. This new series promises to delve deeper into the expansive Star Wars: Visions universe with longer, more detailed stories.

Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 will showcase nine unique short films, each crafted by a different Japanese anime studio. The lineup includes Studio Trigger, known for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, WIT Studio behind Attack on Titan, as well as David Production, Kamikaze Douga, ANIMA, Kinema citrus Co., Polygon Pictures, Production I.G., and Project Studio Q. This collaboration promises to bring fresh and innovative takes on the Star Wars universe.

Additionally, it was revealed that three episodes in Volume 3 will continue narratives from previous volumes. These include The Duel by Kamikaze Douga, The Village Bride by Kinema citrus Co., and The Ninth Jedi by Production I.G.

Kenji Kamiyama, the writer and director behind The Ninth Jedi, shared more about the upcoming spin-off series during the celebration. The series will follow Kara's journey, expanding on her story from the first volume. Fans can look forward to seeing Kara alongside Juro in the 'Child of Hope' episode, which will be part of Volume 3.
