The Arc was Sonos' flagship soundbar until the launch of the Arc Ultra, which starts at $1,000 and hasn't been discounted yet. This premium 45" soundbar features eleven meticulously engineered internal speakers, including three tweeters and eight midwoofers, and is equipped with Dolby Atmos and two dedicated height channels. Its ease of integration with other Sonos products makes it an excellent choice for those seeking superior sound without the complexity of typical AV setups. Additional features include an ambient light sensor, HDMI eARC, capacitive touch controls, WiFi, and a built-in microphone for voice commands.

The new Arc Ultra is actually worth the price premium

Although the Arc Ultra resembles the Arc in appearance and size (with slight differences: 1.5" wider, 0.4" shorter, and 0.4" shallower), its internal components have been significantly upgraded. It boasts fourteen speakers, including seven tweeters, six midwoofers, and a new Sound Motion four-motor dual-membrane woofer. The Arc Ultra offers enhanced bass, clearer dialogue, and improved voice separation. Additionally, it includes Bluetooth, a feature missing from the original Arc.
