SEGA Stars Join Sonic Rumble for Epic First Crossover!

Even before its global launch, *Sonic Rumble* has kicked off with an exciting crossover event called Crossover Event #0: SEGA Stars, running from now until May 7th, just before the worldwide release on May 8th. This event is a nostalgic delight, showcasing some of SEGA's most beloved characters and is currently available in over 40 countries where the game is in soft launch.

*Sonic Rumble* had its first pre-launch phase in Summer 2024 in regions including the Philippines, Scandinavian countries, and Colombia. The second pre-launch extended to Canada, Turkey, Malaysia, South Africa, and more.

What’s in Store?

If you're in one of the soft-launch regions, you can jump into the *Sonic Rumble SEGA Stars* crossover. The event brings back the Altered Beast crew, offering the Werewolf transformation for free. Fans of the classic beast modes can also unlock the Werebear and Weredragon, with the Weredragon available through the Premium Pass and the Werebear possibly purchasable with regular rings.

Adding a touch of *Fantasy Zone*, Opa-Opa and Upa-Upa join the fray. Opa-Opa is part of the Premium Pass, while Upa-Upa can be obtained through fragments bought with standard rings, at 700 rings each.

From *Super Monkey Ball*, AiAi and MeeMee have rolled in. To get AiAi, you'll need 729 Red Star Rings. Check out the crossover event in action below:

Earn Exclusive Goodies During the Sonic Rumble SEGA Stars Crossover

During matches, you can collect SEGA logos to earn extra goodies. Although it might seem odd to have an event before the global release, SEGA has assured that most of these pre-release rewards will return later.

This first crossover event dives deep into SEGA's rich history, blending monkeys, sentient arcade ships, and transformed beasts with Sonic and friends, making *Sonic Rumble* a promising addition to the gaming world.
