Season 5: The Blossoming Blade Arrives in Monster Hunter Now!

Monster Hunter Now is gearing up for an exciting new chapter with the launch of Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, set to commence on March 6th, 2025. Niantic has shared all the thrilling details, including new challenges, weapons, a Season Pass, and the introduction of fresh monsters to the game.

Getting Ready for Monster Hunter Now Season 5

Even before the official start of Season 5, players can look forward to a special treat with the arrival of Chatacabra on February 28th. This marks its grand debut ahead of its first-ever appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. When the season officially kicks off, you'll also encounter Glavenus and Arzuros joining the fray.

Weapons are in for some balance tweaks, designed to make every weapon type more engaging and effective. The Sword & Shield, for instance, will receive a buff that simplifies targeting breakable parts like tails. The Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will now reward well-timed taps with enhanced performance, leading to more satisfying combos.

Additionally, the Guard skill is set for an upgrade. Previously, leveling up Guard had minimal impact, but now, higher skill levels will significantly reduce the damage taken when blocking. Further details on these tweaks and more will be unveiled in the full patch notes on March 6th.

And There Is More!

For those who often find their inventory overflowing, Season 5 brings good news. An Item Box Expansion will be available as a Supply Item, providing an extra 250 slots to manage your gear more efficiently.

Moreover, as part of Monster Hunter Now’s 1.5-Year Anniversary on March 17th, a new feature will be introduced. This will allow you to trade special materials earned from hunts and events for valuable rewards, including Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards.

So, prepare for the new season by downloading the game from the Google Play Store and stay tuned for more updates. Meanwhile, don't miss out on our next news about Honkai Impact 3rd’s v8.1 Update 'Drumming in New Resolutions.'
