Project R.I.S.E. is bringing Clash Heroes back from the dead (sort of)

by Skylar Feb 28,2025

Clash Heroes isn't dead, but it's not exactly alive either! It's being resurrected, albeit in a different form. Supercell's new pre-alpha game, Project R.I.S.E., will utilize Clash Heroes' visual assets. While not a direct sequel, it allows the unique art style of Clash Heroes to live on.

Project R.I.S.E. is a social roguelite where you team up with two other players to conquer The Tower. It's a new game, not a continuation of Clash Heroes. Watch the developer video below for a closer look!

The primary carryover from Clash Heroes is its distinctive art style. Project R.I.S.E. will heavily feature Clash Heroes' assets and visuals. This might be disappointing for those anticipating a Clash Heroes sequel, but at least the art style endures.

Project R.I.S.E.: What to Expect

Project R.I.S.E.'s future is uncertain, given Supercell's history of discontinuing underperforming games. The recent launch of Squad Busters might also impact R.I.S.E.'s development and success, especially considering the competitive mobile gaming landscape.

The game has been in development for some time. Now in pre-alpha, hopefully, we'll soon get a chance to experience this new title infused with the aesthetic legacy of Clash Heroes.
