Pokémon Go Trials Go Pass in Limited Regions

by Mia Dec 05,2025

- Go Pass beta testing now available in select regions - Event period runs from April 1st through May 6th - Both free and premium Deluxe tiers accessible

Pokémon Go is introducing an exciting new reward system called Go Pass, currently undergoing regional testing before its worldwide launch. Following the success of the Tour Pass during Pokémon Go Tour: Unova, this feature allows eligible players to collect exclusive rewards. Those in participating regions can access Go Pass: April for limited-time bonuses.

Battle Pass System Comes to Pokémon Go

From April 1st to May 6th, players can accumulate Go Points to level up their pass and unlock rewards including Xerneas encounters, Stardust, XP boosts, and Poké Balls. The base Go Pass is completely free, while the premium Go Pass Deluxe offers enhanced rewards like Lucky Trinkets, Candy XL, and valuable items including Incubators and Lure Modules.

A key advantage is the ability to upgrade to Deluxe at any time while still claiming all previous rank rewards retroactively.

Regional Test Variations

As this is still in beta testing, reward structures may differ across regions. Some areas might feature alternative Pokémon encounters, modified item rewards, or even PokéCoins at certain tiers. These regional differences will help Niantic optimize the system before its global implementation.
