PlayStation Plus Summer 2025 Adds Resident Evil, More

PlayStation Plus subscribers gain access to an exciting mix of classic and modern titles through the Extra and Premium catalogs, featuring beloved franchises like Resident Evil and Twisted Metal.

Sony unveiled fresh PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 additions to its rotating game library during June 2025's State of Play event. These titles will gradually roll out throughout summer, with select games launching simultaneously on the subscription service.

The standout title, Sword of the Sea, delivers a mesmerizing surfing adventure across vibrant landscapes. Developed by Giant Squid (creators of Abzu and The Pathless), this atmospheric journey combines fluid skateboarding mechanics, enchanting visuals, and deep exploration. PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members can enjoy it at no additional cost beginning August 19, 2025.

Remedy Entertainment expands the Control universe with FBC: Firebreak, arriving June 17, 2025 for Premium and Extra subscribers. Alongside these innovative experiences, the Premium Classics Catalog brings nostalgic gaming moments.
