PS Plus August 2025 Games Revealed

Sony has unveiled the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup for August 2025, showcasing premium additions including Marvel's Spider-Man, Mortal Kombat 1, Resident Evil 2, and more exciting titles.

The complete list of games joining PlayStation's subscription service was announced today in a new PlayStation.Blog post. This month's selection blends blockbuster AAA titles with intriguing indie discoveries, while Premium subscribers gain exclusive access to a five-hour trial of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.

Starting August 19, PlayStation Plus will expand with 11 new titles. Extra and Premium members can enjoy NetherRealm Studios' fighting game reboot Mortal Kombat 1 and Insomniac Games' acclaimed superhero adventure Marvel's Spider-Man, which makes its return to the service after leaving back in April 2023.

The diverse lineup also features Harold Halibut, Indika, Earth Defense Force 6, Unicorn Overlord, Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key, and Coral Island. Notably, Giant Squid's Sword of the Sea will launch directly into the PlayStation Plus catalog.

Premium subscribers receive additional bonuses with two legendary PlayStation classics: Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, both playable on modern PlayStation consoles. Below you'll find the complete August 2025 additions with platform availability:
