Does Pity Carry Over in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium? Answered

Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium's Pity System Explained: Does Pity Carry Over Between Banners?

Developed by Sunborn, Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium is a free-to-play tactical RPG with gacha mechanics available on PC and mobile. A common question among players revolves around the pity system and whether progress carries over between banners. Here's the breakdown:

Does Pity Carry Over?

Yes, your pity counter and pulls from one limited-time banner in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium will transfer to the subsequent limited-time banner.

For instance, during the global launch, the simultaneous Suomi and Ullrid banners shared a pity counter. Pulling on either banner increased the pity counter for both. This means you could maximize your chances by strategically switching between banners as you approach the pity threshold. Any remaining pity from these banners will carry over to future limited banners, as confirmed by Chinese server players.

Important Note: Pity does not transfer between limited and standard banners. You cannot manipulate the system by pulling on the standard banner to build pity and then switching to a limited banner.

Soft and Hard Pity:

While the hard pity is set at 80 pulls, a soft pity mechanic begins at 58 pulls. After 58 pulls without an SSR unit, your chances of obtaining one gradually increase until you reach hard pity at 80 pulls.

This information should clarify the pity system in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium. For more game guides and tips, including rerolling, tier lists, and locating the in-game mailbox, check out The Escapist.
