Pikmin Bloom Celebrates 3.5 Years with Retro Theme

Pikmin Bloom is gearing up to celebrate its 3.5th anniversary with flair, bringing a touch of nostalgia to the festivities. Set to launch on May 1st, the event will introduce a delightful range of decor Pikmin inspired by Nintendo's iconic hardware from the '80s and '90s. This celebration allows players to reconnect with the classics in a unique way.

Starting May 1st, players can participate in event missions to unlock the Nintendo Game Consoles ’80-’95 Decor Pikmin. But the celebration doesn't stop at the well-known consoles. In a nod to Nintendo's early days as a physical toy manufacturer, players will also have the chance to acquire the Playing Card (Clubs Suit) Decor Pikmin, themed after the original card decks.

While the new decor Pikmin inspired by Nintendo's vintage hardware may steal the spotlight, it's worth noting the irony that Pikmin itself originated on the GameCube, which isn't featured in this set. Nevertheless, from May 1st to the 31st, diving into the event missions will allow players to collect Game Button Cells, which can be used to grow these nostalgic decor Pikmin.
