Game Director Aaron Keller confirmed the mode's continued availability until mid-season, after which it will shift to an open queue format. The 6v6 mode's initial appearance during last November's Overwatch Classic event showcased its popularity. While the first run was brief, it quickly became a fan favorite. Its return in Season 14, initially planned as a limited-time role queue playtest, further solidified its appeal.
