After months of swirling rumors and fan speculation, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered has been officially confirmed. Bethesda took to X (formerly Twitter) on April 21 to announce a livestream dedicated to unveiling the remastered version.

The livestream is scheduled for April 22 and will be broadcast on Bethesda's official YouTube and Twitch channels at 11 AM ET / 8 AM PT / 4 PM BST. Below is a handy timetable to help you find the start time in your region:

First Released in 2006

Developed by Bethesda Game Studios and co-published by Bethesda Softworks and 2K Games, Oblivion was initially slated to be a launch title for the Xbox 360 in late 2005. Development delays pushed the release to March 2006 for both Xbox 360 and PC.

A mobile version, crafted by Superscape and published by Vir2L Studios, followed in May 2006. The PlayStation 3 edition hit North American shelves in March 2007 and European stores in April 2007. Plans for a PSP version were scrapped, but multiple bundle releases paired Oblivion with other hit titles like Fallout 3 and BioShock.

Last week, the internet buzzed with leaked images supposedly from developer Virtuos’ website. These images showcased promotional art for Oblivion alongside comparisons between the original and the remastered versions. It was also revealed that the remastered game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S (including Game Pass), and PC.
