Netflix Plans Clash Universe Animated Series

by Isabella Jan 15,2026

Netflix and Supercell have unveiled plans to bring the Clash video game universe to television through an animated series set in the worlds of Clash of Clans and Clash Royale.

Currently in pre-production, the series will expand on the playful chaos of the games, as confirmed in a Netflix press release. The storyline follows "an eager but out-of-his-depth Barbarian who must unite a quirky band of recruits to protect their village, all while navigating the hilariously convoluted politics of warfare."

Official Clash of Clans social media channels amplified the excitement around the news. "Sound the horns, raise the banners, and reinforce your village walls — Clash is storming @Netflix!" they announced, sharing a lighthearted teaser video showing the development team revealing the project over a group FaceTime call. "We're creating a fresh animated series featuring your beloved mustachioed Barbarian and his high-voiced, hog-riding allies. Charge!"

The creative team at Netflix appears equally thrilled to reimagine the game universe in animated form. "Clash has captivated global audiences for more than ten years — blending humor, action, and memorable characters that make it an ideal fit for an animated adaptation," noted John Derderian, VP of Animation.

"Collaborating with Supercell’s talented team, Fletcher Moules, and Ron Weiner, we're translating the fun, dynamic action, and unique spirit of the Clash world into an exciting new format. We’re eager for both longtime fans and newcomers to dive into the adventure."
