After smashing its Kickstarter goal back in 2022, *Mandragora*, now *Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree*, is nearly here. If you're considering pre-ordering, here's everything you need to know about *Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree*'s release date and all the enticing pre-order rewards.

What Is Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree's Release Date?

Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree is set to launch on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on April 17, 2025. Originally slated for a December 2023 release, the date has been pushed back, but fans have been patient. Developer Primal Game Studio has kept backers informed, and some have even enjoyed access to a closed beta. Unlike many troubled campaigns, the comments section isn't filled with demands for refunds under Kickstarter's Terms of Use.

In Mandragora, you'll battle the ominous "Entropy" as you strive to save a world on the brink of collapse. The game's dark atmosphere keeps you on the edge of your seat—can you really save the world?

You can pre-order Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree right now on Steam and the Epic Games Store, and by doing so, you'll unlock these pre-order bonuses:

Game Preview 2 is not yet available, but we expect it to be released soon. Game Preview 1 is significantly larger than the game's demo, being four times its size.

Note that the Deluxe Edition does not offer any exclusive pre-order bonuses beyond what's available in the Standard Edition. Both editions grant access to Mandragora Preview 1 and, later, Preview 2.

Can You Pre-Order Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree on Console?

Currently, you cannot pre-order Mandragora on consoles. Although the game is listed on the respective console storefronts, the pre-order option is not available. It's possible that a pre-order option might become available before the April 17 release. However, since the game's previews are PC-exclusive, console pre-order bonuses likely won't include preview access.

Is Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Getting a Physical Release?

In today's digital age, PC games rarely come in boxed releases, being primarily available on platforms like Steam, the Epic Games Store, or GOG. As for a physical release of Mandragora, there's both good and bad news.

The good news is that there will be a physical version for both console and, surprisingly, PC. The bad news is that it's only available to those who ordered it through the Kickstarter campaign for $79. With the Kickstarter campaign now closed, this option is no longer available. It's possible that Primal Game Studio may offer a broader physical release in the future, but for now, you've missed your chance.
