eFootball Marks 30th Anniversary with Global Fest

Konami Digital Entertainment celebrates a significant milestone this year: the 30th anniversary of eFootball. A host of exciting activities are planned to honor this landmark occasion, including a global festival and the introduction of several new in-game characters.

Join the 30th Anniversary Celebration of eFootball This Summer!

For the first time ever, Pelé joins the game. Widely regarded as one of football's greatest legends, Pelé makes his debut as an Epic player card. His arrival is especially notable as he brings two exclusive skills: Phenomenal Finish and Phenomenal Pass, which are unique to him. Now you can team him up with other football icons like Johan Cruyff and Ferenc Puskás!

As part of the 30th-anniversary festivities, players who log into eFootball during the celebration will receive a wealth of rewards. These include Focus Cards for Lionel Messi and Lamine Yamal, 10 Item Selectors, and an Epic Legends Assemble Contract. You'll also get seven 30th Anniversary Chance Deal Contracts, a special 30th Anniversary Kit, along with Training Plans, eFootball Coins, EXP, and GP.

Additional incentives are available through Tour Events and Challenge Events, where you can earn extra coins, contracts, EXP, and training items to further enhance your squads.

Konami Also Has Major Real-World Plans!

Konami is hosting the inaugural eFootball World Festival on July 21, 2025, at Belle Salle Shibuya Garden in Tokyo, Japan. This free event is open to all eFootball fans and will feature 30th Anniversary Live Stage Events, including announcements on new content and licensing updates.

The festival will also host the eFootball Championship 2025 World Finals, bringing together elite esports competitors such as Ettorito97 from AC Milan and N_Apriamashvili from Inter Milan to battle for the championship title. The event will be live-streamed worldwide in nine languages.

eFootball's journey began in 1995 with the release of Winning Eleven, later rebranded as Pro Evolution Soccer (PES). Over the decades, the series has evolved into eFootball, a free-to-play football simulation. You can download it now from the Google Play Store.
