by Carter Feb 24,2025

Warhorse Studios has announced upcoming official mod support for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, enabling players to craft and share their medieval Bohemian creations.

The developer revealed this via a concise Steam post, promising Steamworks integration for modding tools. While specifics like a release date remain undisclosed, the announcement confirms players will be able to "create, tweak, and expand" the game's content. Although unofficial mods already exist on platforms like Nexus Mods, an official teaser image (below) showcases a potential modded Henry, riding a zebra and wielding a fish-shaped sword.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's recent release has generated significant player interest, making Warhorse's ambitious post-launch plans unsurprising. Beyond Steamworks mod support, three expansions are slated for 2025: "Brushes with Death" (summer), "Legacy of the Forge" (autumn), and "Mysteria Ecclesia" (winter). These expansions will enrich Henry's narrative, complemented by free updates introducing features like Hardcore Mode and Horse Racing.
