Kingambit Joins Pokémon Go in Crown Clash Event Next Month

• Crown Clash will be held between May 10th and May 18th.

Get ready for the Sweet Discoveries event, because Pokémon GO is heating up with the highly anticipated Crown Clash event. Taking place from May 10th to May 18th, this event offers trainers the opportunity to evolve the legendary Kingambit, the Big Blade Pokémon, and earn exclusive rewards. To obtain Kingambit, you’ll need to evolve Bisharp into Sirfetch’d, but here’s the catch—Bisharp must be your buddy, and you’ll need to defeat 15 Dark- or Steel-type Pokémon in Raid Battles. No need for Bisharp to participate in the battles; simply tag along and enjoy the spoils.

Joining Kingambit are two new costumed Pokémon: Nidoqueen and Nidoking, each adorned with regal crowns. Keep your eyes peeled for their Shiny forms, as they might make an appearance. These regal Pokémon will feature prominently in three-star Raids, while Sneasel, Klink, and Pawniard will appear in one-star Raids.

The wild will be bustling with activity as well. Expect frequent spawns of Slowpoke (which may yield a King’s Rock), Slakoth, Piplup, Combee, Snivy, and Litleo. Pawniard sightings will also increase, so keep your radar active.
