KEMCO Debuts Metro Quester Mobile RPG

Metro Quester – Hack & Slash has launched on Android. This dungeon-crawling RPG stands apart from the typical KEMCO release. While it retains turn-based JRPG combat, its core experience embraces the raw, challenging spirit of classic dungeon explorers.

Discover the Secrets of a Forgotten World

You and your team are scavengers in this world. Your mission is to venture underground, scrounging for resources before the weekly food ration expires. Remember one crucial number: 100. You must secure 100 units of food every seven in-game days to survive.

To achieve this, you explore ruins teeming with monsters, searching for scraps in locations like Otemachi and Ginza. Note that you can only level up after returning safely to a camp, provided you've survived the expedition and collected enough materials.

Metro Quester – Hack & Slash features 24 unique characters, each representing one of eight distinct classes. It’s your responsibility to customize their combination skills, arm them with weapons, and devise effective strategies.

Every ability consumes action points, and you have a pool of five points to use per turn. Additionally, each ability can be activated only once per combat round, making tactical foresight essential.

The dungeon in Metro Quester – Hack & Slash unfolds as you proceed. You might uncover food hidden in the soil, stumble into monster lairs, or discover keys that grant access to new zones. Occasionally, you'll find a campsite suitable for establishing a new operational base.

The game's visual style is intentionally minimalist. The world is portrayed in a stark, desaturated palette, while your party members are highlighted in vivid contrast. Get a first look at the game in the video below.

A NEW GAME+ mode unlocks after completing the main story. This feature will satisfy players who enjoy revisiting the adventure with increased difficulty and greater challenges.

The game is now available on Android for $14.99. It does not support external game controllers and is currently offered in English and Japanese only. You can download it directly from the Google Play Store.
