Ironheart Trailer: Riri Williams Battles The Hood

Marvel Studios has unveiled the first trailer for Ironheart, the upcoming MCU series coming to Disney+.

The show marks Dominique Thorne's return as the armored hero after her debut in 2022's Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, with Anthony Ramos co-starring as Parker Robbins/The Hood. The new trailer showcases Riri Williams' evolution from supporting character to full-fledged superhero in her own standalone adventure.

The Hood initially presents himself as a mentor figure to help Williams reach her potential, though his true intentions remain mysterious.

Produced by Ryan Coogler, Ironheart will premiere its first three episodes on June 24 at 6pm PT/9pm ET exclusively on Disney+.

Williams cheekily refers to her Wakandan adventures as an "international internship." After getting expelled from MIT, she faces The Hood's proposition: "Every successful person makes tough choices. Are you in?"

The trailer features impressive action sequences showing Ironheart's signature armor in flight before she dramatically grounds herself to punch an incoming truck into a spectacular flip.

Marvel's upcoming slate includes Eyes of Wakanda, a four-episode animated spinoff focusing on the elite Hatut Zeraze warriors, arriving August 6.

The studio also has the animated Marvel Zombies premiering October 3, continuing the undead universe from What If...?, featuring returning cast including Elizabeth Olsen, Simu Liu, and Iman Vellani. The live-action Wonder Man, starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, follows in December 2025 with Ben Kingsley reprising his Iron Man 3 role.
