Honor of Kings Unveils Snow Carnival 2024 Festive Events

Honor of Kings, Tencent's renowned MOBA, is gearing up to launch its inaugural festive event, the Snow Carnival 2024, promising a thrilling holiday experience for players worldwide. This event introduces a variety of new in-game features, including Zero Cost Purchase Events, novel hazards and enemies, and a unique gift exchange system to celebrate the season with friends.

Starting with gameplay enhancements, from November 28th to January 8th, players can expect a range of exciting additions. On November 28th, the Snow Overlord and Snow Tyrant will make their debut, offering additional slow or freeze effects upon destruction. From December 12th, heroes such as Lady Zhen, Princess Frost, Zhuangzi, Dolia, DaQiao, and Shi will be able to stack their water-based skills, creating an ice effect on opponents, adding a new layer of strategy to the game.

New in-game hazards will also spice up the gameplay. From November 28th to December 11th, Glacial Twists will appear in the jungle, capable of reducing your speed and tossing you around. From December 12th to the 23rd, the ice path effect will be introduced when summoning the Shadow Vanguard. Finally, from December 24th to January 8th, defeating the river sprite will grant you an ice sled, useful for both support and retreat.

The Zero Cost Purchase Event, running from December 6th to January 8th, allows players to acquire one free item without spending any tokens, selected from those available during the event. Additionally, from December 24th to January 1st, the Gift Exchange feature enables players to send and receive gifts with friends. The Gift Opening period, from January 1st to the 4th, offers the chance to receive a skin and potentially a legendary item, adding an extra layer of excitement to the festivities.
