The Esports World Cup 2025 is shaping up to be a groundbreaking event for mobile gaming enthusiasts. With top titles like PUBG Mobile, Free Fire, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang already confirmed, the summer showdown in Riyadh promises excitement, fierce competition, and substantial prize pools. Now, Honor of Kings is stepping into the spotlight, bringing along a $3 million prize pool and an enhanced format that amplifies the level of participation and entertainment.

Set to commence on July 15th and concluding on July 26th, the tournament will feature 18 elite teams from around the world, representing major leagues such as the King Pro League (KPL) and the Asian Champions League (ACL). The journey begins with the Group Stage, where 16 teams will compete in four double-elimination brackets. Each group’s top team will advance directly to the Playoffs, while the second-place finishers will vie for the final two Playoff spots in a Last Chance bracket.

Matches during the early rounds will be played in best-of-three and best-of-five formats, culminating in the highly anticipated Playoffs. The grand finale, scheduled for August 16th, will adopt a best-of-seven format, complete with a third-place match.

With regional qualifiers ongoing, top squads from Southeast Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East are securing their places in Riyadh. Teams from countries like Indonesia, the Philippines, and Malaysia have already made their mark through regional leagues in May and June.

For those eager to join the ranks of competitive players, Honor of Kings is available as a free-to-play game with optional in-app purchases. Download the game today via your preferred platform and visit the official website for further details.
