Heavy Metal, a legendary anthology magazine, makes a triumphant return to comic shops with its highly anticipated relaunch. Following a record-breaking crowdfunding campaign, the first issue of the new volume hits shelves on Wednesday, April 30.

Heavy Metal #1 features a massive print run of 73,000 copies, the largest for the series in decades. Priced at $14.99, the 232-page issue is a collector’s dream.

The debut issue lands in comic shops on April 30 and newsstands on May 13. The publisher plans quarterly releases but may increase frequency based on reader demand.
