What Is the Greenhouse in Stardew Valley?

The Greenhouse, situated on your farm, becomes available after completing the Community Centre bundles or through the Joja Community Development Form. This structure breaks the seasonal crop limitations encountered outdoors. By finishing the six bundles in the pantry section of the Community Centre, the Greenhouse is magically restored overnight, ready for use.

The Greenhouse's unique feature is its ability to grow any plant from any season at any time, including fruit trees. This means year-round access to profitable crops, particularly those that yield multiple times. Once planted, these crops will continue to produce unless manually removed by the player, serving as a constant revenue stream.

The interior of the Greenhouse has space for trees, chests, and equipment like Seed Makers around its perimeter. The central area features 10 rows and 12 columns of tillable land. The Greenhouse's plant capacity varies based on whether Sprinklers are used.

Without Sprinklers, the inner section can hold up to 120 crops or plants, with an additional 18 fruit trees around the edges. Fruit trees, as always, don't require watering and will flourish provided they have two tile spaces between them.

When Sprinklers are employed, the number of plants you can cultivate changes. Sprinklers are invaluable for saving time, allowing players to focus on other activities around Pelican Town.
