Ghosts, Afterlife & Karma: InZOI Unveils New Gameplay

InZOI's game director, Hyungjun "KJoon" Kim, has unveiled details about the game's unique paranormal features. Players will have limited control over ghosts, a mechanic integrated with a karma system that tracks player actions and influences their fate, even after death.

Good deeds lead to peaceful passage to the afterlife, while negative actions may result in a ghostly existence among the living. These lingering spirits must then earn missing karma points to finally move on.

While ghost control will be a later addition (though ghosts themselves will be present in early access), Kim stressed InZOI's focus on realistic gameplay, keeping paranormal elements subtle. However, he hinted at the potential for future additions of other unexplained phenomena.
