Fortnite x Monsterverse: Boss Fights, Mechagodzilla, and Kong Revealed
The gaming community has been buzzing with excitement as details about the Fortnite and Monsterverse collaboration have leaked online. It was already known that a Godzilla skin would be available in Fortnite starting January 17, but now, thanks to dataminers, we have a clearer picture of what to expect. Epic Games has released an update with content set to unlock on that date, revealing more than just the regular Godzilla skin from the battle pass.
Players will have the opportunity to purchase a set featuring Mechagodzilla and Kong from the in-game store. This set will include unique jet packs and pickaxes tailored specifically for these skins, adding an extra layer of excitement to the collection. Alongside these skins, the game is set to introduce a thrilling new boss event on January 17. During this event, one lucky player on the map will transform into an oversized Godzilla, wielding its fearsome abilities like atomic breath. The challenge for other players will be to team up and take down Godzilla, with the player dealing the most damage throughout the fight earning a special medallion that grants a unique ability.
The Mechagodzilla and Kong set will be available in the Fortnite store at the usual time, with the following pricing:
- Kong: 1500 V-bucks
- Mechagodzilla: 1800 V-bucks
- Two pickaxes: 800 V-bucks each
- One emote: 400 V-bucks
- Two wraps: 500 V-bucks each
- Complete Set: 2800 V-bucks
In addition to the Monsterverse collaboration, Fortnite continues to attract a diverse array of performers and artists. Rumors are swirling that the popular Vocaloid, Hatsune Miku, might soon make an appearance. The buzz started when the Hatsune Miku account posted about a missing backpack, and the Fortnite Festival account responded, suggesting they had found it. This interaction has led players to speculate about a potential crossover. If the rumors hold true, players can look forward to a basic Vocaloid skin, a stylized pickaxe, a "Miku the Catgirl" variant, and even a virtual Hatsune Miku concert, making Fortnite an even more exciting platform for fans of music and gaming alike.
