February 2025: Top Revenue-Generating Gacha Games

by Logan May 26,2025

The competition among gacha games is intensifying, with the latest financial data from February 2025 showing a dip in revenue for several leading titles. Fans and analysts alike are closely monitoring the performance of these popular games, eager to see how the landscape evolves.

miHoYo, now known as HoYoverse, is at the forefront with three major titles that have all experienced a decline in earnings this month. Honkai Star Rail, despite its strong position, saw its revenue drop from $50.8 million to $46.5 million, securing the fourth spot on the list. Genshin Impact, a powerhouse in the gacha genre, took a significant hit, falling from over $99 million to $26.3 million after a previous surge attributed to the Mavuika banner event. It now ranks sixth. Zenless Zone Zero also saw a decrease, moving from $26.3 million to $17.9 million, placing eighth on the revenue chart.

However, there's optimism on the horizon for these titles. Fans can look forward to potential revenue increases with upcoming updates that will introduce new characters to Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and Honkai Star Rail.

In the same period, Pokemon TCG Pocket emerged as the top-earning gacha game, pulling in an impressive $79 million. Love and Deepspace followed closely in second place with $49.5 million, while Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle rounded out the top three with $47 million in revenue.
