Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble Card Battler Launches on Android

Following the releases of Meteorfall: Journeys in 2017 and Meteorfall: Krumit’s Tale in 2019, indie studio Slothwerks has launched the third installment in the series: Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble. This time, the ultimate prize is the legendary Mask of the Uberlich.

Assemble a team of three heroes from a roster of eight and lead them through fast-paced, action-packed battles where cards, powerful combos, and spectacular effects take center stage.

The story begins with Bramble, an unlucky arena owner who lost everything in a drunken bet at a disreputable Meteorfall saloon.

While wandering the wastes the next morning, he stumbles upon the infamous Mask of the Uberlich and devises a bold plan: launch a brutal new tournament to attract ambitious fighters and wealthy spectators, then rebuild his empire from scratch.

And so the Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble begins—a contest where winning isn't about playing fair, but about showmanship, spectacle, and merciless strategy.

Play cards, command your allies, and influence the outcome using Wild Cards. Unlock special effects that bend the rules, collect over 200 different cards, and stack multiple upgrades onto a single card for enhanced power.

Between battles, you can visit Bramble Town

It's your only opportunity to upgrade and train your team. Time is limited, so you must choose vendors carefully—each decision is strategic, and mistakes can cost you dearly.

Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble is designed for short play sessions, with most runs lasting around 45 minutes or less—unusual for this genre.

The game maintains its signature goofy tone, pitting you against bizarre foes like radioactive snotwolves and drunken bearbearians. This quirky humor is a big part of the game’s roguelike appeal.

Originally revealed as Bramble Royale, the game was rebranded ahead of pre-registration. It's now available on the Google Play Store for $6.99.
