Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage, the highly anticipated sequel to the popular roguelike deck-builder, Pirates Outlaws, is setting sail! Developed by Fabled Game Studio, this enhanced version promises a thrilling maritime adventure with exciting new features. Expected to launch in 2025 across Android, iOS, Steam, and Epic Games Store, the game is currently undergoing an open beta test on Steam from October 25th to 31st.

What's New in Pirates Outlaws 2?

Prepare for a fresh journey with a new protagonist, whose story unfolds years after the events of the original. This hero boasts pre-built decks and unique ability cards, setting the stage for strategic gameplay. The sequel introduces companions, each contributing their own specialized cards, adding a new layer of depth to deck construction.

A novel card fusion mechanic lets you combine three identical cards into a more powerful entity. An evolution tree allows for deck upgrades, transforming previously discarded cards into valuable assets. Relic acquisition has also been revamped; instead of post-battle drops, relics are now found in markets, after boss fights, or during special events.

Battles feature a new Countdown system impacting enemy actions, replacing the End Turn button with a ReDraw mechanic. A revamped armor and shield system further enhances strategic combat.
