Etheria: Restart announced via Twitter (X) on April 21 about an upcoming global livestream preceding its final beta test. Etheria Restart is an upcoming free-to-play strategic RPG featuring live arena battles in a futuristic sci-fi setting. Facing a global freeze crisis, humanity has uploaded their consciousness into the digital realm of Etheria, where they coexist with beings called Animus. However, the Genesis Virus threatens this digital sanctuary by corrupting the Animus.

Players assume the role of Hyperlinkers within the Hyperlinker Union, fighting against the viral outbreak while uncovering its mysterious origins to protect both virtual existence and humanity's last survivors.

Developed with Unreal Engine, Etheria: Restart boasts impressive visual quality and cinematic sequences. The gameplay combines strategic turn-based combat with real-time tactical control, including competitive PvP arenas. The game features a gacha system using Hydra Crystals, obtainable through gameplay or premium purchases, to acquire new characters.

Final Beta Test Begins May 8, 2025

The final beta test launches on May 8, introducing Anisync Echoes, Phantom Theater trial challenges, and real-time PvP battles inspired by popular titles like Summoners War and Epic Seven.

This test phase supports cross-play functionality, allowing mobile and PC players to compete in real-time arena battles, assemble optimal teams for challenging boss encounters, and unlock new "Shell" companions.

Beta recruitment is currently open via the iOS App Store, Google Play Store, and official website. Note that pre-registration isn't available in South Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau regions.
